Just got some bib shorts
This is my first pair of bib shorts and daaaaaaaaaaaaaang they are comfy.
I had no idea of the torture i had been putting my butt through. But now it is safely tucked away in layers of diaper-esque protection.
I might just wear these around everywhere. excellent idea.

Got my first pair(s) 6 years ago because they were on sale at Performance for $10 each. Santini Heineken bibs, a whole rack of them in my size. I have never seen as good a deal since. Now, I have to go shopping for some new bibs as these have lived their natural life. Thank God for the preponderance of bib threads in this forum.

Explain to me why straps pulling over your shoulder are more comfortable? I don't notice shorts at all around my waist.
The question is why do you like bibs? Is this similar to why do people walking around like suspenders to pants with a belt?

[QUOTE=HigherGround;10078546]I did a Google search to see what they looked like, and I discovered this interesting article. On a different note, were women passing by in cars more likely to "Grab a Heine" while you were wearing them?[/QUO

Quality Settles With Heineken Over Santini Jerseys
Publication: Bicycle Retailer
Date: Tuesday, May 4 2004

BLOOMINGTON, MN (BRAIN)--Quality Bicycle Products (QBP) settled an out-of-court dispute with Heineken over Santini clothing with the beer maker's logo that the distributor sold last year. QBP paid Heineken an undisclosed sum in an agreement that included amnesty for all retailers that sold the clothing.

Steve Flagg, QBP's president and co-owner, sent a letter to its dealers last week notifying them of the outcome.
QBP sold the Santini clothing to retailers without knowledge that Heineken had not authorized the use of their trademarks for these products, the letter said.
QBP requested that any unsold Heineken merchandise be returned to QBP for credit. Retailers that continue to sell the clothing are not covered by the settlement agreement.
"We decided it is important not only to come to terms with Heineken for our own liability on this issue, but also to come to terms on behalf of our dealers. The end result is, any dealer who purchased a non-trademarked Heineken item through QBP in the past, does not have to be concerned about any financial obligations as we have taken care of this on your behalf," Flagg said.
Questions about the matter can be directed to QBP's corporate counsel, Matt Moore, at (952) 941-9391, ext. 1255 or mmoore@qbp.com.

It's also a courtesy for the guy behind you - if you wear bibs, your jersey won't ride up and he won't have to stare at the hairy lower back or the crack of your butt.
