Shimano Ultegra RD-6500 rear derailleur

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Shimano Ultegra RD-6500 rear derailleur

I'm looking at a rear derailleur on ebay. It is advertised as a Shimano Ultegra RD-6500 9 speed rear derailleur. Will this work on a 10 speed double? What is the difference between a 6500 and a 6600? Thanks

100.

Its supposed to be stiffer and lighter, or something like that. It's unlikely that anyone can tell the difference.
