last minute opinions, please?
i talked about this in a prior thread, but i'm going to actually make a decision later on.
note, i know that you all can't make the decision for me, but it would help me to rehash it one more time.
I was looking at Felt F-series road bikes; in my price range, 2010 bikes would put me on carbon with 105 components.
shop near me has an '09 Felt F3SL for sale for $2300 (was $3600 when new)
-they downgraded some of the components from SRAM Red to SRAM Rival to lower the price
-it's got two chips in the paint/frame by the water bottle screws; they say they're cosmetic. I called Felt - warranty still good.
assuming i can get the price down further because of the chips, what do you think?
i think the bike looks amazing, and 'felt' good riding it.
i'm just iffy on how many concessions i'm making to get it in my price range.
thanks, dudes.
