how much does Lance's bike weight?
because some people become obsessive about things, like seeing how light you can make a bike. I can understand it, but I wouldn't do anything that would make it dangerous to ride either.

Lance's bike has to meet a minimum weight in order to be race legal, the average rider doesn't have to meet this minimum.

In case you were wondering (and I was), if you drilled .008" holes .020" apart on center through .080" steel spokes on a 44 spoke wheelset, you would save:

    18.9405 grams

I don't really respect the guys who win on such light bikes. If you can win by strength and endurance on a normal race-weight bike then that's something. Making your bike super light seems like cheating.

Yes and No. A light bike doesn't do anything unless you have some skills.

Monocoque unicycles with internal gear hubs, ridden by extortionists with an excellent sense of balance.

You'll see. Unless you drilled out your eyes because they were too heavy.

I'm wondering if he did it so he could make scary noises while he's riding. You know, sort of like a Messerschmitt during a bombing run? Or maybe play a tune. Queen's "Another one Bites the Dust", maybe?

that would be a stuka, ju 87, built by junkers.
By the time you're experienced enough to get something germane out of a test ride, you won't need a test ride.

Contortionists? I'd laugh if someone were trying to coerce me while riding a unicycle.

aw, I was liking the idea of extortionists on unicycles, like riding up to little kids...
