Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

RE: INSTRUCTION TO CREDIT YOUR ACCOUNT WITH THE SUM OF US$10,000,000.00 (TEN MILLION UNITED STATES DOLLARS) ONLY.

Attention, We wish to congratulate and inform you that after thorough review and evaluation of your Inheritance/Contract funds in conjunction with the World Bank Auditoria Team and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) assessment report, your payment file was forwarded to us for immediate wire transfer of the above quoted amount to your designated bank account from their offshore account with us. You will provide us with the below information to enable further completion of your fund wire transfer:

(1)Full Name:.............
(2)Address:..................

With the above information, the whole exercise will take us approximately 24 hours from the date we receive these details.

Yours faithfully,Mr. Shos Babs ( DIRECTOR ).

Set up a dummy email account. Forward this to your dummy account. From there, reply that you are interested, and give them a fake name, but nothing else. Then give them a bit more fake info ... then "forget" to send details ... then be sick for a week & couldn't reply .... See how desperate they get for the bank info

There really needs to be "sting" account numbers that can be offered that will help trace back and catch these cons. Apparently there are people who fall for this stuff though, or it wouldn't be attempted. Amazing.

The problem is, most of these scammers are in another country, where it may or may not be against the law to pull this stunt, and even if it is, it might be a PIA to prosecute and/or extradite.

If you want to pay for the long distance phone call, I know someone who once got called on the phone for this, and he made up an account number with more digits than any account would have. When the person read it back to verify, he said no and made up a different.
