Considering a Scott Addict R4, 2009, any reviews?
Considering picking up this bike. Anyone have any personal experience with it? I'm looking for something that race-ish (aggressive and responsive) but that I can still do my centuries on. Think this would fit the bill?
On sale for 2479 with a 3 hour fitting. Think that's a good deal?

OK deal. I'm getting the 2010 Addict R2, MSRP $3600, net price $3,000, comes with 2010 Ultegra. Lighter package. Better colors.
That website is rife with misinformation. That R4 frame is probably the heavier lower line Addict frame that looks similar to the sub 800 gram (top of the line pro level) Addict LTD frame but actually weighs 100+ grams more (slightly heavier/lower grade of CF than the LTD). Moreover, even the LTD weight is 790 grams PLUS the 330 gram fork weight, not INCLUDING the fork weight, as the inaccurate description states.
I don't think the CF grade difference impacts the bike's performance or character much, it just adds a few oz to the overall weight. Still very light, very tight race bike.

Please not that iPad is perilously close to Pcad. My attorney was considering a lawsuit, but it appears we may have to get in line.
