Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

glorycycles

Has anyone had trouble dealing with glorycycles.com? They seem to have cheap components, but I am a little wary..

I didn't really have any "trouble" with them, but their communication kinda sucks. I received part of my order with no explanation of where the rest of it was. When I called them, the guy simply told me the other items were out of stock. He didn't offer up any information past that, and it was only after I asked about the other items that he informed me that the other items were simply not charged to my credit card and that they would not be sending them to me, ever. The items I did get were shipped in good time and were a good deal.

I've tried to order through them numerous times and they never have what I want in stock. Like Urbanknight says, the only way to find this out is to call. They offered up no communication. I quit wasting my time with them.

I have ordered from them and nothing showed of for 2 weeks. I called to see if it was possibly lost. They said, "sorry, it's not in stock right now". Thanks for the heads up. That was the last time I ordered from them. Had similar results prior. I'm sure locally they are fine. Their internet sales/customer service is horrible IMO.

I'm sorry for the bad experience. I have ordered from them and I didn't have any issue. They should have called you about the backorder.

i've only had good experiences with them. 1 order was shipped out quick at a good price. the other time i tried to order, they emailed immediately and told me they didn't have the item in stock and refunded my money.
