Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Champion System Sizing

Hi, my club is ordering from CS this year and I cannot find the jersey length anywhere. Knowing that they fit small I was hoping someone might have some recent advice/input.

my size is:
6ft
37chest
31waist

I was initially thinking a small race cut jersey but after a bit of searching I think medium race cut is the way to go??

I really don’t want my belly button showing during victory V's...you know on those races up to the from steps of your house...

Thanks in advance..I really appreciate it.

My team bought CS kits last year. I'm 6' 2" with a very long torso (pants inseam of only 32") and I bought the Large. My suit size is 42 Long if the cut is generous through the upper chest. I bought the large jersey and the fit is great except for the length. If only it was an inch or too longer it would be perfect. It works, but just barely. I hope that this helps.

Just ask them to send a set to try on for fit. They did when I had some customs made for a group buy. I would have totally screwed up the order otherwise.

i think a small race would leave a gap over your bibs. my medium race cut CS is a smidge shorter then my medium race cut voler, which up to this point was the shortest jersey i owned. im 5'11", 33" waist and 39" chest.

Hi fatallighting - did you find that the Med Race at least covered your back when tucked in? I am just afraid of ordering a large and having it flapping around in the wind. Order due date is friday, so tonight I am going to try to bug the team regarding sizes some more. I wished they had a length measurement up on their site.

Cheers, thanks for the reply's.

You team didn't order a sizing kit? Its free you know, just as long as you send it back.

Champion's sizing is a bit weird. Also think of the Club cut as a half size. I had many people who would have normally gotten race cut get club cut a size down and people who would normally get club cut get race cut a size up.

We're the same size. Large in everything will fit you. I have this size kit from champsys

FYI, champ sys will send a sizing kit.
