Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Good bike blogs

Hey Guys, been a long time since I been around. I stopped riding for about a year and change.

Anyways, I am looking to get back in starting with a new bike. I was wondering what blogs are cool so I can start seeing what parts are out that are fresh that my money should go too!

let me know
thanks!

I have a few posts up on my blog, I don't know if I'd say it's good, I should update it more too, but a few people have told me they enjoyed the read.

My blog URL is in my signature, but it involves a little influence by racing, not recreational riding.

The three I check out with some regularity are Sprinter Della Casa, Bike Snob NYC, and Fat Cyclist.

It was good, but the jerk running it hardly posts anymore, even though he made it to Belgium. He sounds like a d!ck too.

actually, here's another one. it's the blog of Joao Correia. he's a rider on the cervelo test team.

for those who haven't heard about him, he started riding, turned pro in portugal, but quit cycling in his early twenties to attend college. he stayed out of competitive racing for a good ten years, got back to cycling at 205lbs, dropped 60 pounds, and is now racing in europe. really inspiring stuff. you can read more here

this guy was too fat for the sport, but not anymore
