Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What should I do?

I am a long time reader, thank you for all the great information!

I finally decided to upgrade my bike (CAAD7), and narrowed it down to the Felt F3 or the Pinarello FP3. I was decided on the Felt F3, but now, there are issues with availability, and I might not get it for a while...

I still really like the Pinarello FP3, but I am not sure about the Force/Rival mix. I really like the fact that the Felt come with Red... Also, I have been seeing more and more (good) reviews on the Felt AR4 (Ultegra). There is also an FP3 w/ Ultegra, but it would be pushing it price-wise...

I haven't ridden any of those bikes (the shop offers 100 % satisfaction, so if I don't like the one I choose, I can get a different one), I don't race, I do mostly solo rides and some group rides. Distance varies depending on how much time I have available, so anywhere between 15 and 100 miles.

What should I do? Just thought I would get some opinions...

Those are all great looking bikes, but nothing makes me salivate like a Pinarrello.

Buy Pinarello frameset, load your own choice of gruppo onto it.
