Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

2010 LG Speed Matrix Vs. PI P.R.O.

Any ideas on how these would compare?

I have only used the $75 PI Attack short so far. Got some birthday $ and want to give bibs a try but only have enough to spend on one pair.

LG

PI

I wrote about a half page comparison between the jerseys, and then realized you were asking about the shorts ~.~...

I've tried the PI PRO (3D) and did like them because of the fit, and especially because of the dotted silicone grippers. However the 3D chamois was not for me, as it gave me a bubble butt. I tried the 4D, and they seemed to have shrunk it, but it still sticks out a little bit, enough to still be an issue for me.

As for LG, I have not tried the Speed Matrix, but have tried one of the lower line bibs, and also found the bibs to be equally bubble-butt inducing.

Bubble but's not ideal. Thanks for the info. Sounds like I need to check out other brands as well.

I'm a huge fan of GORE's bibs, although I've only tried and owned one pair. I think CC stocks a few types. I believe that they are "true" to the measurements listed along sizes. I measured my waist at a med, my hips at a large and got the medium, fits perfectly.

Found them on amazon
