why no 11-20 cassette ?

why no 11-20 cassette ?

11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20

why not ?

Because for most people, we need something lower than 20 once in a while. In the old days, for racing, we would use a straight block for criteriums, but now with 10 & 11 speeds you can have a straight block and a few lower gears at the same time.
