Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The guidelines say "no gradients" when the examples next to it are clearly using gradients.

If you're talking about the example in the PDF, then I think it's a light source issue. If you're talking about the images on the referenced page, then those are simply solid colors.

I have the Strada and do not care for it.

Complaints:

1) Too dark of a daylight display.

2) Too hard to figure out how to change the time and too hard to type in correct sequences to change settings.

I think that it is more of a cut-back in the art dept. for your time: 5 computers, and more neat stuff. Wrong, wrong, wrong on all counts.

Dumb contest. Most cateye products are marginally ok, but this is not a good contest. Where's the option to resize the unit display size? Where are the options to design the electronic display choices? Where are the options for providing feedback on impossible user manuals? Where are the options to comment on the more logical display options?

Not there, this is just a new theme contest. If you want excitement, need a new engineering effort not just a fresh coat of paint.

do you mean market research?

most of the entries will be e-data based for the new product development, it's way before any R/D will take place
