Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

FYI: Excellent service from Genuine Innovations on a return

Background:
Bought one of those "all-in-one" master of none CO2 inflators w/hand pump option.
The "hand pump" function lasted about 20 strokes ("...that's what she said") before the internal washer (which was made of hard plastic) split/cracked and made the "pump" function useless. (I like being able to shoot a little air in the tube prior to remounting the tire)

LBS did not want to exchange it - even though it was purchased 30days previous and packaging mentions a 1 or 3yr warranty. They suggested I call Genuine Innovations. Well, I got around to doing that months later when it popped into my mind. Surprised at how courteous GI was and shipped out a different model (stock CO2 inflator at my request)

I still wouldn't recommend their multi pump but their C02 inflators are excellent and inexpensive to use with the non-threaded cartridge option that you can buy in quantity.

Thanx DJ for the assistance.

I had a road morph fail on me in a similar way, though in a bit longer time. You never know.

For what it's worth, I have one of those pumps (Genuine Innovations) and it works great.
