travel trac alloy rollers from performance
so i bought these rollers at performance because they seem like a really good deal. i've done my research and i have seen that they get a lot of good reviews and the people that own them are happy with them for the most part.
but there is something that bugs me about them. i ride them on my road bike and it seems very smooth UNTIL i coast. when i start coasting, i slow down very quickly.
i give a quick look and spin with my hand...when i spin the drums with the belt, the spin dies out very fast as if the bearings are worn(they are fine BTW). but when i pull on the belt, instead of spinning the drum, the drums spin for a while(like it should). i find that kinda odd. the back roller is fine.
i give another gander and i see that the rails aren't straight!! so i am like wtf....
they are not deformed or warped or anything, but they aren't straight at the joints, where it folds. i tried loosening and tightening bolts to make it as straight as possible but no luck.
so can anyone tell me what's wrong with me or the rollers? are they supposed to be like that? was it just bad luck purchase because they are usually straight? someone please help
EDIT
all the rollers spin fine without the belt attached.

I have the same rollers, yes you'll find that one of the drum bearings are not always smooth. I couldn't fix it but it's actually not a big deal because you want resistance anyway. As for the rails not being straight, unscrew the bolts securing the drums to the rails, set it down on a flat surface, and then tighten them back up (not too tight). It will fix your alignment issue.
