Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

DA 7900 Shifter shims

Anybody know where I can get some of those shims for adjusting the levers on Dura Ace 7900 shifters? From what I understand they come with the shifters when NIB, but I have long since tossed that away.

Are you looking to adjust the reach?

Reach adjustment on 7900 series shifters is achieved by removing the front name plate to access the reach adjustment screw. There is no longer a need to use rubber shims as one would do with 7800/6600/5600 series shifters.

Three shop mechanics and a professional coach couldn't tell me this. BF FTW.
