Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

On Hold

Sounds to me, that the swarm of emails the seller got after posting convinced them they could get more money... shame, deal-wise.

definitely a good deal if it fits you.
the shimano 600 components were the old-school version of modern-day "Ultegra", so keep those if they're in good working condition. you may need a new chain by the looks of the current rusted one. other than that, great find. celeste (bianchi green) is a beautiful color.

Nice... the best deals I've caught on Craigslist were my 1989 Bianchi for $100. I emailed him about 20 minutes after he posted it and met him the same day. I also did the same with a 1988 Trek 1200 that I got for $125. Also got a 1984 Nishki Marina for $40. I emailed him, got an immediate response, and drove an hour an half to go pick it up.

pretty good deal! assuming the frame has no rust etc. it should be a solid bike.
