Question for Selle SMP users

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Question for Selle SMP users

I just switched from a Fizik Arione to a Selle SMP Stratos. The Fizik worked well for me where I used to live, but my new flat, relatively traffic light-free surroundings call for something with a cutout. The SMP seems to hit the right places (sit bones) and makes a huge difference in... um, flow, but after my second day of riding it I'm pretty sore. I'm thinking it'll take a couple of days to get used to it, but I was interested in other people's experiences... was your SMP (or any similar saddle) painful for the first few days?

Recently switched from Specialized Toupes and Fizik Aliantes to Selle SMP Evolutions on three of my bikes. The Evolution is my favorite and, at least for me, required no break-in time; comfortable from the get go. Good luck.

Tried one for a couple of months and could never get comfortable on it. Sold it.
