Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Will the BB30 bottom bracket with that is available with some of the cranksets, specifically from FSA, fit into any bicycle or only those with oversize bb shell, and how does one tell from bike specs if the bb30 will fit? Thanks

Any BB30 frame will shout its BB30ed-ness from the rooftops - you're not going to have to do any data mining.

Only those with the BB30 sized bottom bracket shell will take the BB30 cranks and BB. Don't lose any sleep if your frame's BB shell isn't BB30 spec unless you already blew money on BB30 crankset and have to resell them...

+1 it's pretty obvious if the frame is BB30.

And if you are looking at a frame without a crank on it, the huge hole in the bottom bracket and no threads for a BB would be a good clue
