PCADdy, you still loving your dura-ace wheels? I hear they are like $700 now from the UK sites.

Yep, great wheels. I paid $800 or so, but then again I managed to get the company I ordered from to deliver the goods. You'll find that many of those lower priced sites often don't have the wheels in stock.

I like their version of a triplet laced rear.
Overall, they kind of remind me of the original Spinergy wheels with the wide spokes.
Overall though, meh, I guess they're cheaper than LEWs, but weigh 25% more.

They look nice. I'll wait till they do R&D on the early adopters to see how they fare.

Interesting new set of wheels though, good price point relative to Zipp. I'm wondering how they'll hold up in actual use.

They are the hot topic on WW right now. I like them... don't know that I'd race them for fear of crashing but I'd train on them!

maybe I'm just a cheap bastage, but I'm having a hard time justifying that much $ for an entire bike, much less a couple of wheels... sheesh!!!

Definitely some of the coolest looking rims. The up close pictures make the spokes look like paper mache though, but the 4 year warranty is pretty good. We should get a review soon on bf.

I saw these at the ToC. They look almost delicate in person. Insanely light in your hands. They said they're going after the 404 and 808 market. And they said they'll offer crash insurance.
I filled out a postcard for a chance to win a set. If I win, I'll post a report.

The only real exception is for the bearings, which is one year.
The rest of it is standard legal stuff, i.e. they're excluding consequential damages, meaning they'll give you a new wheel if it fails catastrophicly, but they are't paying your medical bills.
I'd be willing to bet just about every manufacturer in the bike business excludes consequential damages.

I think most of the weight savings comes from the lack of spoke holes and nipples. No extra rim reinforcement is needed in that area as you don't have a point source for stress, and the load can be smoothly distributed through the layup. Plus you don't have the hardware (threads and nipples).
