Who is this man getting shoved aside after touching Lance Armstrong?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Who is this man getting shoved aside after touching Lance Armstrong?

Tour de Luxembourg 2010

@ :19 note how guy in white shirt appears to be some sort of race official attempting to guide Armstrong...but the moment he lays hands on Lance...no touch!! I thought I heard the word "bodyguard" spoken at beginning of the audio so I suppose one of Lance's entourage is earning his money ;-)

* also of note: Visconti's victory salute needs some work @ 3:34

Could be germ thing...after all the trouble Lance has had with gastroenteritis this year maybe he's super paranoid about any sort of contact. The bodyguard probably opens doors and pushes elevator buttons for him also.

I read somewhere once that the pros are fanatically superstitious about catching colds and such. I bet it's a hold over idea that no one should be touching you except you.

Good job bodygaurd. You never know what people may do, purposely-accidently knock Lance down pre-race to psych him out of his game.

I was a bit surprised when the Radioshack bus pulled up at a stage start at the ToC and before the bus was even put in park a group of stereotypical (big, burly, and bald) "bodyguards" jumped out of a van and began assembling metal barricades around the bus. All the other teams had a couple traffic cones at most. It wouldn't surprise me at all if there were some of those guys hanging out in the crowds.

Ha ha ha FAIL!

Armstrong I mean, not the official.

Lance must have been reading the homophobic thread about personal contact and come over all self conscious about being touched.

for those who don't remember cadels situation. and this was after he was injured.

It wasn't the bodyguard...it was the teddy bear that swatted the guy's hand away.
