My Saturday ride (or my Fredly 10 seconds of fame)
I was originally going to do a century today, but got talked into a crit through the streets of Portland. Due to blistering 70°F heat, a crowded track, and winds howling at about 4mph, my speeds were definitely way off.
But as a video feed captured by my wife proves, it was still sufficient for me to lead the pack to cheering crowds as the announcers describe the action (I'm the first one you see with a rose on the front of my rig). Not shown is the bunch of roses prime I received....

Great job.
Next time take the rose off the nose, it should be good for another 0.01MPH.
BTW, I'm not quite ready to take off my Super Duper Fred cape and mail it to you, but that was close.

But, no parade is complete without a Corgi in an adult trike. Of course you already knew that.

The blistering speed and dominance is incredible. Any post event random drug test. That performance was akin to cancellara and his motorized bike in Flanders.

What's with the Segway riders bringing up the rear of the race? I mean, sure Cancerllara won those races with a motor on his bike, but I didn't realize that made it okay for everyone else to do it. I hope they got DQ'd.

Man, you guys were even faster than the Segways. Hard to fathom that level of physical intensity and mental focus.

Since they lost, there was no demand for an independent inquiry as to whether they had an unfair advantage.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the human powered speed record held by one of those? I think it might be the cow camoflage one.

However, a stock Lightning F40 is quite fast when fully faired and we did have a couple with us.

Christopher Pike, the first (well, arguably the second) captain of the USS Enterprise:
Then I said: "That looked like the rush to dinner at the Christopher Pike Retirement Home. "
Ok. Now is it clear?
Or was it just not funny? I'm "reaching" again, help me out here.
