Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Fassa Bortolo and certain green and purple jerseys. I'm no threat to win either. Unless I can afix a spike to my rear skewer and slash all of the tires in the peloton.

Phil Liggett: "What's this #919, we don't know much about this man, but he's throwing a spanner in the works--check that its a spike--he's breaking away and it doesn't look like the peloton's interested. He may do it!"

2 USPS jerseys, 3 Once jerseys (yellow, yellow sleeveless and a pink), 1 CSC jersey (my favorite), and a bunch of plain stuff from Performance and Nashbar.

I like the team jerseys because they are colorful and stand out to motorists. Besides, they look cool.

I wanted to get a red jersey, so I found an old retro Soviet Union "CCCP" Olympic replica through some shop in Colorado. I don't believe that they had a good cycling team, but I could be wrong (by the time the authorities allowed their cyclists to participate in the Tour De Freance, the country was on the verge of disintegrating into it's national constituent parts..)

In any event, it's cool looking and it has three pockets and 3/4 size zipper! My other zipper on my standard yellow jersey extends all the way down and easily becomes dislodged at times, which is a pain!

I buy them cheap off the internet...so I've got the following, which I rotate, along with bib shorts from the 'net, also various styles...sometimes I represent 4 teams at once, if you count my gloves...lol!

Once Eroski Pink long sleeve
Saeco short sleeve
T-Mobile short sleeve
Russian national Team old school short sleeve

Pair those with bibs from Loterij and Vermarc/Schwab cycles, and Cannondales...a T-Mobile helmet and gloves and you've got a regular euro tour mutt

I have old team jerseys like LaVeclair, Motorola, Z and I own a Jeff Pierce 7-Eleven jersey and skinsuit. I never wear them but I like to collect them. I do wear a couple of autoracing or automobile related jerseys.

[FONT=Arial][COLOR=RoyalBlue]Good LBS Team jersey, made by Sugoi in Canada. The store initials is A.S.S., and the name is on the back of the jersey, where the pockets are. So people/cars/bikes following me reads "You are following Team Ass"

A few pro teams, some more obscure than others: Mercatone Uno, Rona, Winfix.de, USPS.
And my college club team. Go Bears!

I have a CSC/Tiscali jersey (2001?) and its the only team
jersey I will wear. I feel a degree of legitimacy as I work
for CSC.
Otherwise, no I don't wear team kit seems kind of
pretensious to me.

I'm gonna get a Phonak jersey, only if I get a Phonak helmet from UVEX. Otherwise I'm gonna get a T-Mobile jersey.
