Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

New bike: Cannondale Six Carbon 3 vs. Orbea Onix TRV vs. Pinarello FP2********************???

Please help a new guy. I started riding last year on a Trek 1.5, after destroying my femur for the 2nd time. Sold the dirtbike that I broke it on, and have some money for a new (non-motorized) bike.

These are the 3 I'm lookin at based on my measurement and what's available at the LBS. The Orbea looks like a better deal (based on components), but I love the way the Pinarello looks, (and it's Italian, hot). What about their MOst components? Any good?

Any info outside of what I can already look up would be greatly appreciated.

When work (the Army) allows, I tend to ride a bit over 100 miles a week. Typically in 35-40 mile rides. I try to do a longer one on the weekends, and plan on doing the Hotter'n Hell Hundred in TX this Aug.

Thanks ahead guys!

p.s. love this site alreayd

Their MOst components in some cases are re-branded FSA stuff.
