You're ready. Go ride like heck.
Remember this - the guy on the $8000 bike next to you is gaining less than 1% of speed from all his lightweight aero stuff. Once you're on a current-gen intro-road bike, the only thing holding you back is you. I ride a Sora/2200 setup against road racers most of which ride $5k+ bikes and its definitely not holding me back.

but i'am pumped to pick it up tomorrow! it was in a holding pattern ,between a 2010 Specialized carbon Roubiax ,with some "lower" end components including hubs and calipers! that i never have heard of? with a full carbon frame or a-------- 2007 Lemond Tourmlet Aluminum frame with carbon parts(forks, seatpost) and lots of Bontrager parts, including wheels and hubs ,it also has a complete Shimano 105 copo's and Cane Creek brake calipers !,i figure a total savings of around $600 ! yes its Aluminum ,yes it's a few years older ,but rides and stops & climbs (Test rode both)just as well if not better than a bike that cost over a $1,000.00 dollars, oh did i forget to mentioned i spent $875.00! pictures soon!

stole your bike
Congrats on the bike. Now the next best thing to learn apart from riding your bike efficiently is to enjoy what you ride and don't worry about what other people are riding. It gets pretty tedious to read people's pettiness on here as they go one about how they're better riders than people on expensive bikes. Higher quality bikes have their benefits and like a fine wine, you'll know what makes it better if you know what to look for otherwise just ride your bike and enjoy.
Note: I'm not encouraging you drink wine and ride.

Wayyyy more tedious to hear repeatedly on these forums (and other places) about how anything under 105 components is not worth paying for. If you come to BF , you come away thinking that you need some fancy hi-end bike to ride well, when there's nothing further from the truth - a new intro level road bike like the OPs will have a great ride and will allow even the racing at very high levels.

THANKS GUYS ! for the plus on the lower end bikes, yes a bike for $875 that will keep up with a "PROCYCLING REVIEW" full carbon ride i'am sorry to keep stiring the pot ,BUT WHY,OH WHY, would you spend a extra $1,000.00 or more when you can still get dropped by a bike for half the price

Just go ride man, don't worry what other people got. And if someone busts your stones for having a cheaper bike than theirs tell em to get bent. Hell, I ride a steel 99' tourmalet with RSX components and I live in one of the richest counties in the US, I'm always passing people riding Carbon works of art. At the end of they day though were all doing the same thing, with essentially the same technology.
