Send them to me and I'll break them in properly for you.
Seriously, sounds like you might be experiencing derailleur cable stretch. Retension and adjust them. Check www.parktool.com for some great instructions if you've never done this before. Lube the chain every couple of months and after you ride in the rain. Enjoy, and if that's you in the avatar, thank you for your service.

The only part that might be a little noisy is the chain, for the first 2-300 miles. There aren't many other parts that can make noise. Be sure that it's not an adjustment issue. A shift cable that has the wrong tension can cause the chain to make a constant noise, as the RD keeps it constantly misaligned with the cogs. 1/4-1/2 turn tighter or looser on the cable tension might fix that.

Components don't need time to break in, you were misinformed. Your drive train may not be adjusted properly. Note, the cables will stretch and need to be adjusted, when depends on how much you ride. That's why shops usually tell you to bring the bike back for a 30 day tune up, if you ride a lot, you will need the "tune up" sooner then 30 days. Have whoever installed the Campy grouppo look at it and adjust the cable tension.

I just upgraded from 105 to Campy too (Athena). It shifts like a charm and I love it. I have no complaints about the noise, except for the freehub that clicks like mad, but that has nothing to do with the group.

I tried to get into the seabees. My recruiter told me that the schools were full and said that I would get on the job training in the seabees. Then after I got in, I found out that there was no such thing as on the job training in the seabees. Imagine that, a recruiter that lies. So I went into the fleet. I was fine with it because I got out of it what I wanted.
I complained about the Navy when I was in, but I really had some good times and it was great experience.

I switched from bontrager select wheels to campy zondas, the free hub is definately louder on the zondas.

Then why did my Bianchi / Campagnolo dealer tell me the opposite yesterday? The guy's in his late 50's, so he's not a kid with the latest theory. Campy IS noisier than Shimano and it's kind of clunkier in the shifting... it's one of the things about Campy - you either love it or hate it.

Well saying Campy is louder than ShimaNO is just BS... and just because someone is in their 50's doesn't mean they know squat...Some of the biggest dumb ass's I know are in their 50's
I have used Campy for 30 years and never heard a clunking noise shifting.... I currently have a new 11sp chorus group with 500 miles on it and other than some minor cable stretch (in the 1st 100 miles), the shifting is smooth and effortless...... If yours clunks, there is something way out of adjustment and you need to find a new LBS with someone that knows how to adjust Campy correctly.
You would be surprised how many bike shops are totally clueless when it comes to Campy...

just went out for my first real ride on the bike and it was smooth as can be, i have to agree with cotatrials i had everything adjusted by performance bike and they did a horrible job, i ended up taking it to a lbs that deals in campy and they did an amazing job i couldnt be happier, nothing is loud and no clunking ....

In my experience swapping my bikes from Shimano to Campy the last two years, you might get a bit of cable stretch within the first few hundred miles making it a bit noisier, but once that's tuned a bit, should be as quiet and smooth as anything else.
