Great BBC bike doc

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Great BBC bike doc

https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode...f_the_Bicycle/

There ya go. Very good doc on the history of biking and bike building by a bike nut. Also travels the world speaking to expert bike builders putting together the components of his dream bike. Fun stuff.

Definitely available to UK viewers, sadly i'm thinking probably not outside UK.

Regards

David

They've got a funny way of saying thanks to us (U.S.) for protecting their freedoms.

It's content that was shown on TV and is made available to view post-airing to those who have paid for their TV licence (which paid for making the show). I guess you'll have to wait for a channel state side to buy the rights and break the show up with ads.

Write your Minister of BBC and tell him or her to start letting everyone watch stuff on the Internets.

Thanks.
