Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

apparently they are available from Performance on sale for $500 or so sometimes. Given the excellent new wheels (better than these) which can be had for $500, I would say they are worth $400 or so, maybe less depending on bearings/trueness. Used they tend to be overpriced, as some people actually bought them new for >$1000.

they're not the same, but new 09-10 SL's will sell for ~900 MSRP, 650 if it's a good deal, 500 if used. if they're 05's i'd probably offer 350 or so if they're low miles. wheels don't suddenly become ****ty because they're not current year.

I ride these same wheels and still happy with them. I've seen them being sold for about $350. Do a search on Craigslist and you can get a better idea for your area. Just my 2 cents.

They could easily have 50,000 on them if it were one of those riders that ride 10,000 per year. They don't really look like it to me though just by looking at the braking surface. I would likely replace the bearings in them still.

I am still running my 2005's after 3 years. I have had to relube the freehub body once. they take care of themselves. I use them as a training wheel, and I realize custom are better, but I have never had to worry about my wheels.
