There's just something about the insanity of this sport that I love.
When all the Tom, Dick, and Harrys are cowering in the A/C to hide from the sun...that's when I want to go ride. When the weather sends out a warning for a heat index of 110° F and that outdoor exposure should be limited...that's when I think it's time to earn that jersey! When the guys are talking about going for a swim, hitting up the trainers, or taking to the treadmills because it's stifling...that's when I decide I'm going to tackle the miles, hills, and heat. I don't know if there's something wrong with me or what but I just want to write an email to the weather channel and tell them that I'm a cyclist and Mother Nature is MY b@#ch and not the other way around. Bring the heat...it's time to ride!
Do I need help?

With plenty of water I'm fine with riding in pretty hot weather. It's when you end up going 40 instead of the planned 30 and have to ration your water more when things start to suck.

Throw the stick!!!!
Heat doesn't bother me too much, the single digit base training days are what I dread.
