What's Up With Assos?
Back in April I ordered Uno Bibs, White, Large, from Chain Reaction Cycles. They were too big, so I sent them back for a Medium.
When I sent them back I noticed the CRC website indicated that White M was on back order, However, I figured what's a few weeks. Well it's been 3 months and still no bibs. I noticed other sites such as Wiggle indicate Unos in White, M., were also unavailable. I believe Wiggle even indicates they're on back order till mid September.
Is this the norm for Assos? Are they changing the style and that's causing a delay to their distributors?
I emailed CRC several times, the last was in June and they indicated a mid July time frame which has obviously passed us by.
I may just email them and tell them to send Black since Fall is just around the corner now......
Anyone else waiting?

A Benevolent Force is at work, saving you from wearing white bibs.

There is probably only one white Assos bib in existence.
First it was on the catalog model, then a customer ordered and it was shipped out. Realizing the mistake, they were sent back and mailed to the next person who had ordered them. He then sent them back realizing the mistake and so it went over and over. The different mail order places just send them to each other as they get an order in the hopes somebody will keep them. Once they get to your name on the list you will get them, but be forewarned they will have seen a lot of junk.

Yeah, yeah, I know....But the material on the white L I set back was pretty thick in the "right" places.
My intention was to wear them on hot, sunny days along with a white jersey.
The Benevolent Force may indeed be at work though. My white jersey get dirty real quick while riding in farm country where it can get rather dusty....
I read it different though and think white appears to a large audience, especially in the Summer....Or the racing circuit.

Maybe not white bibs, but the white Assos "sponsor yourself" SS Mille jersey with black graphics is pretty darn sharp looking IMO...
