    Fuji Tiara

I'm trying to get some information on a Fuji Tiara. I'm doing my first triathlon and I was looking for a seriously cheap road bike for training and group rides with the wife. I've been riding a Trek Multitrack 700 Hybrid that's too small.

Does anyone know the original vintage of this bike? I read that early late 80s early 90s Fuji weren't so hot but other years they made fine bikes.

I found these specs on an old usenet ad. Are these original specs?
    Fuji "Tiara"
    700 c
Feather Si 35 Triple Butted Cromoly Channeled Tubing, Ishiwata
    Made in Japan
    130 mm rear dropout spacing
    Pump Peg
    Unicrown cromoly fork

My GF now wife picked one up in in the early 90's. It is probly not much better then your trek. they are a low entry level ride, if I remember correctly it was no more the $300-350 new. not a good bike for racing. look around some more for racing. If you get it for $50 ok.
