Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

"RAW" Carbon/Aluminum Frame

So I am eyeballing a new frame, possibly doing a new build...and was hunting around.
I saw this on ebay and wanted to see if anyone has seen the likes....
Its basically the raw frame before paint, powdercoat, etc....

https://cgi.ebay.com/Carbon-and-alumi...?pt=Road_Bikes

My question is...does this look "okay"....have you seen carbon/aluminum meshing in those areas OTHER THAN the stays? just looks weird....

Thanks for the input...

PS....if you happen to have a frame in the 54cm range...let me know. Looking for something good...

I looked at this frame a few times as well. I never seriously considered it though. I am curious to what others think.

He told me: "These frames are made by Kinesis, they are one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers in Taiwan. "

I just wonder if they are factory blems....

The guys in the "frambuilder" section of BF said to stay away...

Easy. Just ask him how he got it. If he's an honest eBayer then he would tell you if it is second hand or bought from a blemished rack.
