So the CAAD9 is done...
...for now at least...ran out of cash. First pics of my ride around here but what started as a CAAD9-6 is looking even better now.
So far...
Red shifters, crank, RD
Force FD
Ultegra brakes (this is an amazing combination)
Yokozuna cables
3T Rotundo bars
Thomson Masterpiece seatpost
Fizik Arione Saddle and tape
Next on the list is a 3T stem to match the bars and a new set of wheels (thinking a set of Psimets or Soul 3.0s). Maybe a Funda fork to round out the front end. I kinda like the white fork but the somewhat bold white lines on the Funda may look pretty nice.

aren't Ultegra 6700 brakes supposed to be compatible only with 6700 brake levers/shifters? I seem to recall reading that.

6700 has a different pull distance for the cables but they work perfectly. I haven't tried the Force or Red brakes but I really see no reason to switch.
I haven't weighed it yet and really don't care to be honest. I'm still floating around 215 (gained a little in 3 weeks off the bike) so I need to lose at least another 25lbs before I'll even think about my bike's weight. It's pretty nimble though, that's for sure.
