Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I hope this isnt your team kit....

Full on team kit. With running shoes. And a Zipp front wheel. And flat bar.

https://cgi.ebay.com/Track-Bike-Footb...item4aa431e879

Interesting tidbits:

"The track bike model is as fast as you want it to be!" - correction.... as fast as you can push.

Please note the recommended athletes that would benefit... please note cyclists are not included, even though this is a 'track bike'

wow.... there is more out there than I realized:

That kit looks familiar. Location: New Port Ritchey, FL. If they're really there, I rode there last year, did a group ride even.

There are a lot of guys with nice bikes etc there. If I was going to take a picture for eBay, I'd do something like that, kinda goofy. But then again, there aren't any disclaimers ("actual front wheel differs from picture") even though the specs list a more mundane rim.

Funny, I live in New Port Richey and have never seen these on the road or trail. Looks very gimmicky.

I had something similar to that as a kid.

We called it a scooter, though.

I was watching an adventure race on TV once and one team was using them. They said the bikes were better over varied terrain. Maybe so, but I'm thinking it was an advertising gimmick. Maybe if I rode one, I'd grasp the concept. But, probably not...

You don't have to create a new thread every time you find something new on the internet.

I disagree. The more nonsense we have in the forum the better.

Since you can't employ any hand/arm movement on that elliptical bike I can just imagine how horrible hills would be to traverse on one of those things.

I dunno about that one. The aerodynamics of the ice skates allow you to go .00967 mph faster than regular shoes.
