Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Or how about the Scion xb, Kia Soul or Nissan Cube? I guess those are all smaller than the Element.
My Gf has the Soul and is WAY smaller than my Element. Nissan Cube is ugly as hell.. is tiny and useless. Scion is also pretty small comparably

I recently purchased the 2010 Element. I've got the carseat on the back seat behind the passenger - had the other rear seat flipped up and put my road bike in without taking off tire. It would have been tight had my daughter been in there, but it would have worked. I ride a 60 cm Caad 9. Love the car so far! I'll load it up with my bikes and snap a few pics to show how everything works with the carseat. In the meantime, here is the car.

Brian you should have no problem getting it passed the other seat if you aim the front tire into the gap between the front seats.. not sure what is getting in the way.

Irrelevant to the thread and replying to an old post, I know, but FWIW: Exception denied.
