Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Oh, and I'm pretty sure TT helmets are mass start legal, even though no one in their right mind would use one.

Don't be fooled by the gear, the girl next to him will probably drop him. I've seen it 100 times at the local rides - best equipment walking up hills.

Wow.

It would be amazingly hilarious to me if (s)he lost....either because she's just not as fast as the other girls, or because of some catastrophic equipment failure (the non-injury kind of failure) on that $Quadrillion bike. Either way would be just as funny and satisfying to me. And I would laugh even harder if I saw her dad chewing her out for not winning when it was over.

My money's actually on the girl in the blue getup right beside her. That girl's focused! She's only looking at the road ahead of her...and not at the other girls to her side....as hard as it would be not to be staring at the ridiculousness directly to her left. You GO girl in blue!
