Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Need a good saddle

I have been using a Sel Italia gel flite TI on my Trek 2200 for the past few weeks and after ever conceivable adjustment still get numb after around 6 or 7 miles. The stock saddle was even worse. While saddles are always a controversial subject appreciate recommendations. I am 5 ft. 11 ins. 180lb. male.

My suggestion is to do a search on this forum. There are several good threads addressing this issue and I think you'll find a lot of good input. Happy sitting.
