The CAAD of Carbon...2012 Cannondale SuperSix EVO

    http://www.cannondale.com/bikes/road...d/supersix-evo

I am in total love again.

It looks like the CAAD10 a lot, but uses some CAAD9 tech (rounder tubes, hourglasses stays).
And, it's claimed to be stronger than an aluminum framed CAAD, while weighing only 695g for a 56c frame.
When I get one later this year, I'm going to have to start another cult club!
I'm glad I'm going to keep it "in the family" when I move up to a plastic bike.

If you go by what people on BF say, anything you have that is not Trek, Specialized, Cannondale or Giant will someday explode next to a school bus full of orphans driven by a nun.

I rode down to the Tour of California Stage 4, hit the start in the morning, went to the feed zone picked up some bags/bottles, rolled to the finish. Just missed the peloton but still walked away with something....

Cameron W. and Nicoli Zerf from Liquigas-Cannondale signed my frame. I waited for Ted King and the others to descend back down but I had to go before they got back or I would have had more signatures.

Oh and I might be leaving the CULT.. sorry folks. haha. I rode a Focus Izalco Team Replica the other day and the frame was so stiff and light it was a very nice ride. I'm considering getting the frameset and moving my parts over. I would probably keep this frame though and slowly build it back up with campy or something different.

That's awesome! I had Gary Fisher sign my Roscoe a few years back.
I rubbed Contador's & Lance's saddles of one of his tour winning bikes for good luck that day as well.

Did you tell Liqui that you were going to get a Focus before they signed your bike?

I caught the ToC too, I was at the final stage start in Santa Clarita. I didn't roll up on my CAAD though.. pesky non-riding family wanted to come along =]

By far the most crowded bus was...

    Safety query --

Was giving the CAAD10 a thorough wipe down on the repair stand last night and noticed what looked to be a horizontal dent in the seat tube, right behind the front derailleur. Could someone be so kind as to take a look at their frame and let me know if this is something that is purposely designed into the frame (to provide clearance for the FD movement), or whether this is something I ought to have the LBS take a look at, to ensure there are no safety repercussions. The paint is not cracked. You may need to run your finger along the seat tube to feel what I am referring to.

I would be grateful for your assistance. Thank you.

I have a CAAD8, not a 10, but regardless, have your shop look at it.

I don't see anything on mine...it's right here, i even cleaned it for ya..

the only thing that looks like a dent is the top tube about 2/3 of the way down there is a dent for knee clearance that was built in on both sides.

there is a slight cut out directly underneath the front derailleur on the drive side of the seat tube...if that's what you are talking about.

post some pics, that might help.

I believe this (bolded above) is what I am referring to. I will try and take some pics tonight and post. Thanks so much for taking the time, I am grateful.

That's intentional, yes. Should be there. Many frames have it.

    Thanks everyone.....greatly appreciated!

Now if someone could help me with my other pending query (post#1447)

"Have a quick question that I'm hoping some CAAD10 owners can help with:

Do you find that the RD cable that runs below the right side chain stay is very close to the chainstay itself (at one point almost touching) and does not run parallel to the chainstay like a lot of other bikes? I find this to the be case on my C10 and I noticed the same thing on another C10 at the LBS.

    Thanks "

I will post a pic tonight to illustrate.

I know, I know, I need an updated picture, but until then drool over this you CAADicts...

(As shared before, my GF matched the graphics on my Edge 1.0 to the CAAD's.)
