Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Choices, choices. Giant, Felt, Specialized, or BMC

Currently on m/l giant tcr alliance. Feeling like I need a 58, decided it was him for a change.
Wanted to be on full carbon. But.....BMC looks nice
So:

2005 Felt f3c, mavic, carbon bars, DA, looks new
2009 Giant tcr advanced 3, 105
2011 Felt F5, 105
2011 Felt AR5, 105
2011 Specialized Tarmac, 105

Or, forget about Carbon and get a 2009 BMC Roadracer sl, Rival, the orange throws me off, but it is still damn good looking.

Or, keep what I have until next summer?

BMC and TCR cheapest options. BMC in size L is about the same size as my current bike, so I thought about getting a longer stem, ordering an XL would scare me.

I really don't care if it's carbon or not. I love my BMC roadracer.

I ride a Giant, so I can guess how the larger TCR will ride.
Going to try and ride the felt and tarmac today but I don't think they have any in a 58, so I can ride a 56 and see how it feels

No way to ride the BMC, or even see one in person, but damn it is good looking.

What size did you get? What size road bike do you normally ride?

Normally, I ride a 54 cm. The medium BMC fits me perfectly.
