Inside Training
Now that there is no longer any light after work, I'm considering purchasing either E-motion Rollers or TruTrainer Rollers. Does anyone have any advice? Are there other rollers to consider? Are there any stationary spinning bikes worth considering?

riding in the freezing cold at night is immeasurably more fun than any sort of indoor training

I hear that rollers are more fun and do improve your pedal stroke, but trainers can develop more power. I use a trainer and it is boring as hell but combined with Spinerval DVDs I can make myself do it.
I would buy Emotion Rollers if it wasn't for the price. I have a KK Road Machine which I bought for about $200. It is boring but it does what it is suppose to do.

I have E-motions and they are well worth the money when you spend a significant amount of time indoors. I've tried to ride of them many times, I've not been able to so far. You can do everything from recovery rides to 1000w+ sprints on them. Mine have over 200 hours on them and there isn't a bit of wear or anything that has gone wrong with them, they've been perfect.
