The grave of former Canadian Prime Minister William Lyon Mckenzie King. People are constantly covering the grave with coins. He was PM from 1921-1926, 1926-1930 and 1935-1948.

Nobody taking any weird pictures this season or what? I seem to forget to slow down and take pictures anymore.

A Huffy Verona that I bought off CL for $20 and a VW Vanagon that was in much better shape than the 1982 Vanagon that I used to own. Taken earlier this summer in front of the Cub Foods grocery in Sugarcreek Township, Ohio, USA. It's scheduled to close this month for good, unfortunately.

First this is Ironically oddball because it was taken at the OddFellow Cemetery.
Secondly it is the grave stone of what it purported to be the only surviving soldier of the 7th Cavalry regiment under Gen. Custer at the Battle of Little Big Horn.
There are several stories about Mr. Stowers. Some say it was an old mans embellishment of his glory days. Some say he was fighting bravely, was struck in the head, knocking him unconscious. He was then passed over as dead by the Native Americans. A professor told me that Mr. Stowers was there, but showed up at roll call the morning of the battle so drunk he could not ride. His commanding officer ordered him tossed in the back of a supply wagon to sober up. He then passed out. The wagon was toppled during the battle. After awaking, Mr. Stowers crawled out to discover the bloody battle field. You must decide which is true. LOL At any rate, Mr. Stowers was a veteran deserving Respect and Honor.
Oops this thread was for road bikes...well this is a Mt. Bike with slicks that I use for road riding as the roads around here tend to get a little rough and I am a Clyde. Please forgive.

I've been absent from oddball pictures for a year and a half. I'm back though, with a new bike, new riding area, and hopefully some interesting things to take a picture of. Here's one to start.
