Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

CyclingLove?

Hey, I've been tracking the daily deals on CycliingLove.com. Before I hit the trigger button--has anyone out there bought anything from <url redacted> before?

Thanks!

Nope.

Another is bonktown.com
Not ordered from there yet either, but seen some tempting deals. They rotate every 30-40min though...!

I'll be watching this site. Bonktown has teal women's running shoes way too often for a cycling site.

I am always surprised how many things come up on Bonktown that have nothing to do with biking. It is not like they don't have enough other places to sell that stuff. Bonktown gets a lot of tri stuff. That said I have given those one deal at a time sites plenty of money since I discovered them. Bought the wife 2 pairs of smartwool socks today as a matter of fact.

In the past week, I have bought a long sleeve Orbea Jersey and a floor pump from Bonktown. I also just heard about https://www.gearscan.com/ that follows Bonktown, ChainLove and a few other outdoor sites. Have never heard of CyclingLove. Will check it out.

Yeah, what's up with that?? They are allegedly a roadie site yet they are pushing running shoes and Tri suits etc?

I did snag a nice pair of cold weather gloves from them a few weeks back, but IMO their site and business model are more annoying than helpful.

Sorry OP this relates to bonktown not the site you mentioned. Are you sure you are not a shill??

I think Bonktown = RealCyclist. Admittedly, they do have some great deals on closeout items.

Yeah I know.

Like one of my professors used to say when asking the class a question: "The answer is on the board."

Although it looks like Jenn spelled it wrong. So sad.

Cyclinglove.com

Looks like I was typing too fast and/or the keys were sticking! At least I wasn't as bad as this this guy recently caught on camera at a local 'cross race:

Anyway, my order from CYCLINGLOVE.COM arrived safe and sound: I'm wearing it right now!

I've dropped my blackberry twice doing that - accidently trying to put it back afterwards in my jersey pocket. It was a little scary testing to see if it still worked

Bonktown along with all the other gearscan deal sites are part of backcountry.com.
