Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Tom,
a little late on this, but best wishes to your wife, I hope she heals up fast.
After reading the blog post about your building that bike rack for her, it's pretty obvious she means a lot to you!
FWIW, for someone as mechanically disinclined as myself I found that to be a pretty impressive piece of engineering.
Hope to see a post on the rollers.

Trike rollers...sweet!

She'll be on the road, blasting roadies in no time.

Should you have any questions or inquiries related to nutrition I might be able to answer, pm me any time.

Just a quick update: I only logged in for a few minutes.

Continued improvement, she's doing allright on her PT. They have her using a recumbent exercise bike! Tis is to build enduance and strength.......cool, huh, especially since she's a bent rider. She's up to 15 minutes before her head starts hurting too bad to continue, but she's doing it 3 times a day now, voluntarily.

I was expecting more people to chime to this rather than some frivolous issue on BF. But I guess if it is not as sensational!

Thanks for the update. Looks like good news over all.

Peace

Earlena has been working her butt off in therapy. She may get sent home and to outpatient as early as next week. Her food issues are working out well on the pureed diet and technique training she's been getting for choking avoidance. She'll be home by the 21st at the latest. She'll likely have to use a walker, but hey, it's gigantically enormous progress (Read EXPONENTIAL!)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
