Looking forward to that ride report in a few months. Were it me, I think black bar tap would be the way to go. All the same, great build!

    Looks great!

    16.5 pounds isn't heavy.

I actually like 105 cassettes. They're cheap, durable, and just a few grams heavier than Ultegra cassettes.

Mean people are like slinkys. They're really not worth much but still are rather entertaining to watch tumble down the stairs.

Very very nice. I want to hear about this rear end fine tuning that was talked about in your video review.

Nah. The black stem and hoods are enough horizontal black that it compliments the saddle. Black tape would make the front end disappear.

Nice job LowCel. Very pretty bike.

Very nice - the only thing is, I think white tape requires a white saddle. But it is one hot bike!

Huzzah! I think this merits a full ride report in the spring, complete with pictures by a road sign, and some other photo of a mountain pass.

Sorry, no more pictures for a while. The crankset has been removed and put back on the Kestrel. I am looking forward to playing with my camera when the weather gets a little nicer though.

The Quarq comes with red chainrings, and yep, they are 50/34's.

I will probably switch to black when I rewrap them in a few months. I do like the way the white looks on it though.

I've been using the same two SLR's for years now, I wouldn't know where to start looking for a new saddle. Oh, plus I'm broke and can't afford a new one.

The Colnago seatpost came with the frameset. As for is it an "in-line seatpost", I have no idea what that means.

I was hoping you were going to do this painfully slow to irritate everybody in the other thread.

Nice build though. Hope it's all you want it to be.

That was the plan but I was bored yesterday and ended up doing more than I had planned. Oh well, now I'll have to start planning my upgrades.
