That's okay, I realize that everyone else is just being nice with all of the compliments about my crappy bike. Someone had to speak honest eventually.

Now that you know the truth about that bike, you probably can't stand the sight of it. Send it to me for proper disposal.

Apologies. I got carried away. Anyways, notice my PX has no PX brakes. I opted for cheap Taiwanese crap from SRAM instead of cheap chinese crap there.

I would but I already chopped it up and threw it in the fireplace. The good news is that shipping will be much cheaper now.

At least they didn't bother putting their name on the brakes so I can lie to people and say they are from some acceptable company.

Seeing that the Scattante has gone full circle, you need to get rid of it. Send it to me and I will ensure its disposal

Much like Tony's pizza rolls fresh from the microwave, it is difficult to compare with the fine Italian heritage of Scattante. There really is no substitute.

    The Colnago is quite nice.

i own a tommaini tecno and a bianchi reparto corse alongside my scattante. the scattante doesn't have the same heart and soul but it is a fine bike.

i also don't mind pizza rolls but i prefer them out of the oven. not only do they taste alright, but there is no need for a timer. they audibly "sizzle" when done. (is it obvious that i am a young bachelor yet?)

Nice bike! Love the looks. The red brakes really set it off IMO. Matching red anodized spoke nipples would complete the look!

Gorgeous build & bike! I also have a Colnago (CT-1) with the same brakes (cnc in black) and Sram brake levers (I love this ride!). Right now I just got Bontrager race xxx lite tubular wheels and I'm waiting for it to stop raining so I can give them a "baptism". Let us know how you like the Psimet wheels...actually I'd really like to hear your thoughts after you get some miles in, contrasting them to other wheels you have had, highlights, and any issues you may have encountered. bon voy ride !
