Colnago CX-1 build complete!!!
I just finished up the build on my Colnago CX-1. I plan on making a few changes before Spring but for the time being it is complete. Better pictures will come later.
Frameset - Colnago CX-1
Wheels - Psimet 50mm carbon rims w/ White Industry Hubs
Stem - FSA OS190 - to be upgraded later
Handlebar - RaceFace Revolution - possibly upgraded later
Seatpost - Colnago carbon
Saddle - Selle Italia SLR
Brakes - Planet-X CNC
Bottom Bracket - TruVativ GXP
Crankset - SRAM Quarq compact
Front Der - SRAM Force
Rear Der - SRAM Force
Cassette - Shimano 105 12/27 - to be upgraded later

there is nothing wrong with that. my "everyday" record equipped bike has a centaur cassette and veloce chain. my "good" bike has a record chain and cassette. no reason to expose expensive wearable parts to excessive miles and poor weather (especially when the cheap stuff functions the same)
edit:
i should also mention, i am a traditionalist when it comes to italian frames but if your not going campy, you just as well hit it out of the park with fsa, sram, raceface, planetx, and kmc.

Heavy.
It is around 16.5 lbs right now. I hope to get it down to below 16 which I think is decent with the 50mm clinchers and the SRAM Quarq crankset.
