Colnago CX-1 build complete!!!

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My OCD cannot overlook the fact that the paint on the fork and headtube do not match exactly.

I have no idea, when I ride it in a month or two I'll be sure to post a ride report.

there is nothing wrong with that. my "everyday" record equipped bike has a centaur cassette and veloce chain. my "good" bike has a record chain and cassette. no reason to expose expensive wearable parts to excessive miles and poor weather (especially when the cheap stuff functions the same)

edit:

i should also mention, i am a traditionalist when it comes to italian frames but if your not going campy, you just as well hit it out of the park with fsa, sram, raceface, planetx, and kmc.

Great build!

It is around 16.5 lbs right now. I hope to get it down to below 16 which I think is decent with the 50mm clinchers and the SRAM Quarq crankset.

Yep, couldn't pass up the snow camo tape. It's a very limited edition tape.
