Vuelta team sl wheelset
I have Vuelta xrp's on my bike they good but heavy. Bikeisland has Vuelta Team sl listed at 1533 grams and 359.00. Anyone here using these and is it a good step up? My thought is they are but is there something better for similar cash. The xrps I have now are well built almost 5000 miles still true that means something even if heavy. I am 176 PBS.

I've never heard of Vuelta but there wheels are cheap even their carbon clincher. I'm interested to hear what others have to say about them. I wouldn't mind to try their carbon wheels out for that price.

I had a set of Vuelta track wheels, I liked them a lot...for their price point. They won't implode but they're not Rolfs by any means.

Vueltas are decent wheels for what they cost. I don't know first hand how good they are as far as hubs and durability. I just know for what they cost, they aren't bad.

I have a set of Vuelta Corsa Carbon 50s I bought this spring and use them as my everyday wheelset. They are nicely detailed and weigh 1700g, which is not bad for 50mm aeros at 811.00. I have put about 4,000 miles (rural blacktop, that at times can be pretty rough), on these wheels with no issues. I've descended at 48 mph on some curvy downhills and they performed fine. At this point, they are solid and true. I wish I had something negative to say, but I really don't. Well, I guess they could be lighter...
