200+ lbs too much for Mavic Cosmic Carbone SLRs?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

200+ lbs too much for Mavic Cosmic Carbone SLRs?

I've managed to get a set of new Mavic Cosmic Carbone SLRs for little more than I was willing to pay for just an aero front wheel.

I'd love to keep both the front and rear, but I think I'm too big for the rear, at least. I've already broken spokes and pulled nipples through rims on 20, 24, and 28-spoke rear wheels, so I'm concerned about the longevity of the 20-spoke SLR rear.

For you number crunchers, right now I'm 205 lbs and my PowerTap has measured my peak torque at 2200 lb-in (1300+ N pedal force on 172.5 cranks).

You should be fine. At 220lbs, I ride my Mavic Cosmic Carbone SLs all the time and haven't had to touch them yet. I am sure the SLRs are just as strong as the SLs.

+1 on the response from fa63. I'm 205 and riding SL's with no problems. Love the wheels. They start to sing around Mach 1 though.
