Need seatpost recommendations
Here is the bike:
I had a titanium seatpost on there, but I ended up switching back to the cheap, heavy aluminum one shown for fit purposes. I am looking for something with a 31.6mm diameter, ~15 mm offset, and preferably 200g or less. I am not too picky about the material.
The Thomson Masterpiece seems to fit my criteria very well but I am not sure about the looks of the setback version, so pictures of bikes with a setback Thomson seatpost would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.
For the most part, I follow function over form but it doesn't hurt if the part looks good while still working well. I know the Thomson works well (I used an Elite for a while on a different bike), but the setback version just looks a bit odd to me.
The Syntace P6 looks interesting with the multiple setback options. I would be curious to see what it looks like when being used with ~15mm setback.

That Fizik seatpost looks nice. I am not sure how I feel about using a Fizik seatpost with a Specialized saddle, but I will add it to the list.

Best one I ever used was an Alpha Q, but good luck finding one. I have the opposite problem of always needing a zero seatpost and have issues finding good ones. I'm on an Easton EC70 right now and am pretty happy with it. Looks good as a setback post if you're okay with carbon. If you don't like the idea of a Fizik seatpost with a Specialized saddle, why not go with a Specialized post? I liked the stock one I had, but it was setback.

Race Face Evolve has been the best seatpost I've ever used...extremely adjustable and it takes both carbon and normal sized rails.

thats a nice looking bike! the setback you are looking for cuts down your options though. how about a KCNC SC pro light? 18mm setback
link for reference only id say you could find it cheaper somewhere else

this new ultimate should also fit the bill but cost a llittle more. you never said what size you need or what price you wanted to spend.

There are a few models. Evolve is the heaviest and strongest, Deus XC is lighter and still very strong, and Next is a carbon model that is marginally lighter than the Deus XC. I like these much more than Ritchey, Easton, FSA, and others. The angle is adjusted independently from the horizontal position with one bolt, and it only takes a few seconds to change saddle.

Thomson Masterpiece.
I own a setback masterpiece and it's an awesome post; can't go wrong.
It's functional, durable, lightweight and pretty.
EDIT: For the record, an Easton EC90 seapost would make a nice triangle and really set it off imo.

I own a powder coated 7-speed Shimano 600 Centurion that I'm gonna convert to 10 speed w downtube shifters b4 too long.
Think I'm gonna keep a shiny quill stem on there though seeing as most of the components are silver. Wanna get a 1" threaded carbon bladed fork for it too.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have been looking on there, but they don't have the one I would be interested in on clearance in my size (31.6mm EC70). The new EC90SL setback one looks interesting, however.
Specialized only makes their seatposts in 27.2 mm diameter, so I would need a shim if I went with one of theirs. I will check out the Alpha Q, but I am not sure how I feel about their posts with them being out of the cycling business right now.
That looks like a nice product. The only downside is that it seems relatively heavy. Not that it really matters, but I like to cut down on weight as much as I can when I am replacing something.
Thanks. The KCNC looks like it might be a good option.
Thanks. I have seen those before, and I am not sure I like the clamping mechanism. The support above the rails looks like it might concentrate loads on a small section of the rails. This was the case with my PMP titanium seatpost as well.
I edited the original post to reflect what size I need. Price is also not a big concern for those who were asking.
I will check out the Deus and Next models, thanks for the input.
Again, thanks everyone for the suggestions so far.

I've used these on several bikes and highly recommend them for situations where offset is needed.

The KCNC is probably the cheapest bet of your original criteria unless you need the 400mm length in which case it would be more like 215 grams.

Above is my Lynskey with a Thompson Masterpiece 31.6 setback. It works well and is simple to adjust.

Hmm, did some research on the KCNC and I am above their suggested weight limit. So that rules the KCNC out.
On the other hand, just found this picture of a forum member's bike with a Thomson setback seatpost, and I must say it looks pretty good.
It looks like it helps to have a large amount of exposed seatpost with the Thomson setback, which puts the bend further away from the seat tube/top tube junction. Maybe it will work for me too because I am showing a lot of seatpost?

Bontrager has a carbon XXX-lite in a 400 x 31.6 with a 20mm setback at the head, if you'd be interested in a carbon post. Weight-wise, it would be similar to the Thomson Masterpiece.

I think you are right about that. I think the sloping top tube and the largish diameter helps things, too. In that case, with your 31.6, I'd go with the Thomson. If you are on a budget, or the kink on the setback Thomson would look awkward on your bike, then the RF Deus XC is a great option and cheaper. Otherwise, Thomson is a relative no-brainer.

I just found a Thomson Elite setback locally on Craigslist. It is the right size, and it is pretty cheap so I will see if it is still available so I can pick it up over the weekend. If I am successful, I will post the pics here.
Thanks for all the suggestions.
